From the Tempest x Brus 2019 litter. This girl opened her blue eyes a few weeks after birth and that was just it. We had to keep her. I (Deborah) wanted to keep her based on her color...Andrew said, well if she has two blue eyes we will. And she did! I still made a few efforts to sell her but no home seemed quite right. People didn't want to commit to her, for various reasons. Thing just work out right - we are happy we kept her!
Maybe her sweetest trait is how she jumps right up into the crook of your arms if you hold them out. She is one great dog: Mama's looks and calmness indoors, Daddy's basic temperament for the yard. She does bark but not that much, for a Sheltie! She's been the first puppy we kept that seemed to mature instantly. She was a puppy, but she never seemed to be juvenile in any way. She is and always was well-coordinated, athletic, calm in her disposition, and mellow indoors unless actively playing. She seemed to take house training seriously from day one and made very few mistakes, almost as soon as we began to trust her she displayed that she deserved it.
She has a fabulous thick coat and gorgeous markings. She got "hound dog ears" - they do not stand erect but flop over - and yet it becomes her.
